It’s really something almost everyone today seems to believe, seems to know. We believe it, but how familiar are we with it?
Can you defend your faith? If a stranger walked up to you right now, and asked you, called you out, asked you to prove it, could you?
Do you have an argument, a reason you believe what you believe?

Why ARE the original star wars movies better than the new ones?

  4. unspokensong said: I think it’s because there wasn’t much to compare it to. They were great, but they stood virtually unchallenged. Today’s films feel pressured by ones like Harry Potter. They have to be the very best, like no film ever was. And that affects quality.
  5. bekn said: The writing was atrocious which considering that the original films were hardly penned by Shakespeare, is pretty damn bad. Also Jar Jar and everything else. (I’m not even a Star Wars fan)
  6. thoserudeinterruptions said: Simple. The old ones have fewer plot holes. The new ones have amazing effects. Thus, the new ones are flashy but the older ones are better stories.
